Increasing our collective strength based on the Mitani Sangyo Group's strategy
We have spun off our divisions into subsidiaries for more flexible and efficient group management and to enhance the comprehensive strength of the Group. Our subsidiaries are roughly of two types, with some specializing in business operations in a particular market or locality, and others performing a part of the business processes of the Company.
	Market- and locality-focused subsidiaries meet the diverse needs of clients Our specific market- and locality-focused subsidiaries include Mitani Juken Hanbai Co., Ltd.; INTENZA Co., Ltd.; Mitani Sangyo Constructions Co., Ltd.; Mitani Sangyo E.C. Co. Ltd.; and Mitani Gas Co., Ltd. Of these, Mitani Juken Hanbai, which designs, sells and installs residential equipment in the Tokyo metropolitan area, proposes to the client an optimum choice of products from multiple manufacturers.
	INTENZA Co., Ltd. manufactures and sells its original "INTENZA" brand of system storage cabinets and system kitchens. It endeavors to cut costs and increase profitability through fully integrating IT into its production and installation management systems, and increasing the number of cooperating factories as it plans, develops, sells and installs high-quality original products.
	Mitani Sangyo Constructions Co., Ltd., which sells, designs, and installs household and air conditioning equipment in the Hokuriku region, offers total services from planning and proposals to installation and after-sales maintenance, at the request of the client. Sagami Kasei Kogyo Co., Ltd., our subsidiary manufacturing and selling medical substances, will strengthen its quality assurance system in accordance with the revised Pharmaceutical Affairs Law, while striving to increase sales of existing products and imported goods. Furthermore, the company will continue to develop medical substances for generic drugs. Mitani Sangyo E.C. Co., Ltd., sells petroleum products and chemicals in the Hokuriku region, and Mitani Gas Co., Ltd., sells LPG and gas appliances in that region. Both of these companies conduct business in a manner fine-tuned to meet local needs and respond quickly to each request from local residents. These subsidiaries are striving to expand their existing business and develop new clients and business areas in their respective markets and regions.
	Subsidiaries performing a part of our business processes The subsidiaries that perform a part of the business process include four companies in Vietnam, and ACTY Co., Ltd. AIT assists in accelerating the establishment of information systems and improving their quality. ACSD performs the design and estimation business for the Air Conditioning Systems Division. It also produces working drawings and completion plans for Mitani Juken Hanbai Co., Ltd. and INTENZA Co., Ltd. AIT's participation increases the speed of these operations. In relations with the M&E Division of Mitani Sangyo, ACTY Co., Ltd. performs initial production control in forming dies and resin moldings, and ABCD manufactures resin moldings and composite unit products. AMCE manufactures and distributes chemicals, contributing to the business operations of the International Division.
